The portfolio workshop will introduce students to the culture of publishing and printing in Architecture and will expose them to emerging static and dynamic visual trends.
In this workshop you will learn to build a portfolio intended to showcase your visual skills and design sensibilities. This portfolio will be an edited collection of all your Making + Meaning projects.
Over the course of the next three weeks, we will discuss: 1/ how to collect, document and edit your work; 2/ how to curate and communicate your projects using both text and images.
The workshop will be structured in three lectures around three topics, each diving deeper into the medium: Format, Image, Experience.
You are asked to collect all relevant images you have produced every Sunday evening in the form of a draft portfolio. In addition to building a draft portfolio every week, you are asked to upload the images to the SCI-Arc share. Please create and name a folder and subfolder as follows:
